Lovely new studio in Margate
July 15, 2011
Here are some pics of my lovely new studio in Margate. It is the first time I have had a space all to myself and it is LOVELY! I shall be making lots of linocuts here as well as continuing my illustration work (I’m currently doing some drawings for the new Frankie Boyle book).
The studio is in the Pie Factory, in the heart of Margate’s Old Town. There are five studios in total, plus a gallery and a smaller pop-up shop space for hire which I am planning to use for a giant linocut exhibition as a part of Pushing Print in October.

There’s even a big sink! Perfect for printmaking…
And a roof terrace. I repeat, a roof terrace!
This is the first linocut I am making in the new studio. It will be titled “It’s a Seagull, Stupid”.
