Linoleum exhibition at HemingwayArt Oxford

Linoleum: The Cutting Edge, an exhibition of linocut prints, animation and other lino-based art opens tomorrow at HemingwayArt gallery, Oxford. I’ve spent the last three days hanging framed prints, formatting videos and installing Mark Andrew Webber‘s piece which hangs across the ceiling of one of the gallery rooms.

Other works in the show include Wuon Gean Ho‘s animation Shift, of a dancing dress and Bill Fick‘s humorous if slightly terrifying prints of skulls.

The exhibition features a total of 10 artists from the UK, Germany and the USA who push the boundaries of linoleum as a medium for creating art. On the final weekend we will also be running a Steamroller printing event so why not come along and have a go at making your very own linocut and watch as we print it with the steamroller!
