Linocuts go global

I’ve had an overwhelming response from Saturday’s Guardian feature. I had around 2500 pageviews over the weekend – not bad for such a niche blog! I’ve also had lots of interest in workshops. Please do get in touch if you are interested in learning linocut or developing your skills. All workshops will take place in Margate, Kent, where my studio is. I’m currently looking for a bigger printmaking studio so I can set things up to the high standards I want! Come summer I’m aiming to have plenty of space for teaching up to ten students at a time.

In the meantime, thank you to everyone for visiting and do peruse my older posts for useful nuggets of linocut knowledge!

  1. Amazing number of hits – just shows the power of the national press.
And good luck with the studio….

2500 pageviews – wow! That's great and I hope it leads to many wonderful things!
I am interested in Workshops (though I must admit I prefer small groups.. 10 sounds like a lot of people for printmaking – the queue for the Press would be everlasting!). Would you accept juniors (14/15 yrs), if accompanied?

I just discovered you blog while I was hunting for tips on lino cutting technique. I'm a lino artist from Sydney, Australia. I cannot tell you how excited I am. Your love for the medium and hunt for fellow artists is brilliant. Thanks for sharing.
