Linocut workshops this summer

I’m running several linocut workshops this summer, both in London and in Italy. You can visit my workshops page on this blog to keep up to date and if you subscribe to my email newsletter I’ll keep you posted with regular (but not too frequent!) bulletins.

On 28th July I’m running a linocut flickbook workshop with Jotta in London, (probably in the ICA building!) I ran one of these with Jotta recently and it went really well but it was a bit rushed. This time the workshop is an all-day affair, so there should be plenty of time for planning, carving, printing and binding the flickbooks.

I’m also running a week-long linocut and letterpress workshop in Italy in August. Based in a stunning medieval castle in a picturesque hill-top town near the Adriatic Sea, this is a bit of a special one. Come and hone your linocut skills and experiment with the collection of beautiful antique wooden letterpress type. Over the week you will make a series of illustrations incorporating text and image which will be bound into a simple book.
