About Nick Morley

Nick Morley is an artist and illustrator based in Margate, UK. His prints have been exhibited worldwide and have been featured on the BBC and in The Guardian and Telegraph. Nick’s book Linocut for Artists and Designers, a complete practical guide to the technique, was published by Crowood Press in June 2016.

Nick Morley’s linocut illustrations have appeared on book and magazine covers as well as on a chilli sauce label and a brand of cider. When he’s not making linocuts, Nick teaches linocut workshops and writes a blog about linocuts. He also curates regular exhibitions to showcase artists using linocut.

After working in London for ten years, in 2013 Nick set up Hello Print Studio, a space for making prints in Margate. Part of Resort Studios, Hello Print Studio offers facilities in relief printing, screenprinting and etching. The studio is available to hire on Wednesdays and hosts regular printmaking workshops and artist residencies. The studio is housed in a stunning Victorian warehouse just off the seafront.
