I’ve just completed my second book cover illustration, this time for Faber and Faber.  It’s for a book of W. B. Yeats poems selected by Seamus Heaney.  You can see the rough at the top which I drew with a brush pen.  Once this was approved (with a couple of small changes) I traced the outline of the shapes onto a lino block and re-drew the details with the brush pen before starting to carve.
